Shipping Policy

 

FREE Shipping with Exceptions

During the Covid-19 Epidemic all major shipping sources like FEDEX, UPS and USPS increased their shipping costs because the manpower shortage. So, now that it basically over, we’re still waiting for USPS prices to come down if they ever will. So, until that happens, we had to start charging our Alaska and Hawaii customers the actual USPS shipping costs which is almost double the price. We had to make a choice, add actual shipping cost to AK/HI orders OR not sell to those states at all OR increase my prices which I don’t want to do. So, we decided to just add the actual shipping costs. The rest of the US States are provided FREE SHIPPING. Hopefully the economy will improve in the near future and return to normal shipping.

Shipment Processing Time

All orders are processed within 3 to 5 business days. Most of my items are drop shipped so my suppliers will be handling the packaging and shipping your order. Orders are not processed on weekends or holidays. IF an order is placed on Friday past 12 noon, processing will not begin until the following next business day which is either the following Monday unless a holiday falls on that day then on Tuesday. 

During a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.

US Territories

My suppliers will not ship to the US Territories such as Guam, Puerto Rico, Samoa and the US Virgin Islands. And that includes the Armed Forces (AA, AE & AP).

Shipping rates & delivery estimates

Items I have on hand:

  • Small and lighter items will be shipped via USPS First Class or Priority Mail with a delivery time is 2 to 4 business days.
  • Bigger and heavier items will be shipped via FEDEX Ground and delivery time is 2 to 7 business days depending on location.

Items I don’t have on hand:

  • My suppliers will be packing and shipping your orders for us and shipped via FEDEX or Priority Mail depending on location.

Shipment Confirmation & Order Tracking

You will receive a email once your order has shipped containing your tracking number(s).  Once the package is picked up by the carrier, your tracking number will be active within 24 hours after receipt.

Customs, Duties and Taxes

Kitchen Merchant is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, etc.).

Damages

Kitchen Merchant is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged, please contact the shipment carrier to file a claim.

Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim.

International Shipping

We currently do not ship outside the U.S.

It may change in the future but only to specific countries we feel comfortable with.
